01About these terms

These terms describe use of the Audio Voltage website, customer accounts and digital products. Our products include sound libraries, presets, soundsets and samples. All products are delivered digitally; product artwork and packaging illustrations do not represent a physical item.

Read the product description, compatibility requirements and any product-specific licence before ordering. Our privacy policy explains personal-data processing, and our refund policy explains the no-voluntary-refund policy and the rights that remain available by law.

02Orders, prices and FastSpring

Paid orders completed through FastSpring are sold by FastSpring as our authorised reseller. The FastSpring entity shown at checkout is your seller for that transaction. Its applicable terms of sale, including any regional addendum, govern that sale.

Review the currency, taxes, discount and final total displayed at checkout before submitting payment. Product-page prices may be localised to your location. A free download is identified as free and does not require a payment.

Audio Voltage provides the product content, account library and product support. Questions about charges, receipts or payment processing can also be addressed to FastSpring buyer support.

03Delivery and compatibility

Following successful order processing, download access is provided through the order confirmation and, where linked to your account, your library. Use an email address you can access and check your spam folder if the message does not arrive.

Download links may expire for security reasons. Sign in to your library or contact support for help with access; an expired link does not by itself remove your purchase rights.

Products may require a particular instrument, effect, software version or operating system. Those requirements are set out on the product page. The required third-party software is not included unless expressly stated. If compatibility is unclear, ask us before purchase.

04Your account and responsible use

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials confidential. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not attempt to bypass download permissions, interfere with the website, introduce malicious software or access another person’s account.

We may take proportionate steps to protect the service from abuse or security threats. Any restriction is subject to applicable law and does not automatically cancel valid product or consumer rights. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide a way to contact us.

05Product licences and copyright

Purchasing or downloading a product grants the rights set out in the licence applicable to that product; copyright ownership is not transferred. Any product-specific licence or usage terms presented with the product remain relevant. Ask us before purchase if your intended use is not clearly covered.

Do not redistribute, resell, share or make the original product files available to others unless the applicable licence or law permits it. This does not prohibit using the sounds in your own work where the product licence allows that use.

Website text, artwork, audio and other materials belong to Audio Voltage or the relevant rights holders. Third-party product names and trademarks identify compatibility or their respective products and do not imply endorsement.

06Refunds and product problems

Digital downloads are non-refundable under our voluntary returns policy. We do not offer a money-back guarantee or refunds simply because you change your mind after purchase. Please use the previews and review the requirements before ordering.

This policy does not exclude mandatory withdrawal rights, remedies for defective or non-conforming digital content, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded. The details and contact routes are set out in our refund policy.

07Statutory rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, mandatory consumer rights and rights relating to defective digital content remain unaffected.

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but maintenance or technical faults may temporarily interrupt access. If a product or download does not work as described, contact us with the product name and a description of the problem so we can investigate.

External websites have their own terms and privacy notices. Following a link does not make those services part of Audio Voltage’s own website.

08Applicable law and updates

German law applies to these website terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of habitual residence. This does not replace the applicable FastSpring terms for a purchase made from FastSpring or any mandatory jurisdiction rules.

The version relevant to an order is the version applicable when that order is placed. Later edits to this page do not automatically change an existing contract or product licence. Where agreement or notice is legally required for a change, that requirement remains in place.
