Audio Voltage / Legal
Refund policy.
Digital downloads are non-refundable. Here is what that means, and how to get help if something is wrong.
01Digital downloads are non-refundable
All Audio Voltage products are digital downloads. We do not offer voluntary refunds, returns or exchanges, including for a change of mind. Please listen to the previews and check the product description and software requirements before placing your order.
This no-refund policy is subject to mandatory consumer rights. It does not remove a valid statutory right of withdrawal, rights concerning faulty or non-conforming digital content, or any other right that cannot legally be excluded.
02Before you purchase
- Check the required instrument or effect, software version, operating system and file format.
- Listen to the available demos and review what is included.
- Check your account library to avoid ordering a product you already own.
- Ask us about compatibility or permitted use if anything is unclear.
A preset or soundset does not include the third-party software needed to use it unless the product description explicitly says otherwise.
03Statutory withdrawal rights
Consumers in the EU generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for a distance contract, subject to the applicable rules. For paid digital content supplied without a physical medium, that right may end when supply begins only if the legal conditions are met. These include your express consent to early supply, your acknowledgement that you lose the withdrawal right when supply begins, and the required contractual confirmation.
Simply calling a product “non-refundable” does not replace those conditions. For a FastSpring purchase, consult the withdrawal information and regional terms supplied at checkout and with your order. You can contact FastSpring buyer support to exercise a valid withdrawal right. Contacting Audio Voltage for technical help is not a prerequisite.
04Missing, faulty or incorrect downloads
If a download fails, a file is damaged, you receive the wrong product, or the content does not match its description, contact us so we can investigate and help restore access or provide a remedy.
Your statutory rights for defective digital content remain unaffected. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, these may include having the problem corrected, a price reduction, termination of the contract or other remedies. The voluntary no-refund policy does not override those rights.
An expired download link is often an access issue: check your library or contact support for assistance.
05FastSpring payments and billing issues
FastSpring is the authorised reseller for purchases made through its checkout. Its applicable terms of sale and the mandatory law relevant to your purchase also apply. Any refund that is legally due or otherwise authorised for a FastSpring transaction is handled through the payment process for that order.
If you believe you were charged twice, charged incorrectly or charged without authorisation, contact FastSpring buyer support promptly. This policy does not limit your ability to raise a legitimate payment dispute.
06What to include when contacting us
To help us identify the order and investigate efficiently, include:
- The product name and order reference.
- The email address used for the purchase.
- A short description of the issue and any error message.
- For a technical issue, your operating system and relevant software version.
Do not include passwords, full card numbers or other payment credentials. You can reach us using the Audio Voltage support form.
