Apparatus is a collection of 20 free experimental sounds for electronic music, films, games and creative audio projects. It brings together unusual textures and tones that can work as atmospheric layers or as material for further sound design.
The source recordings include foley, environmental sounds, electronic devices and tones made with software and hardware synthesizers. Lo-fi processing, stutters, glitch effects and granular synthesis give the collection its rough, unpredictable character.
Free experimental sounds to layer and reshape
The seamlessly looped files let you build a continuous texture, while the varied source material gives you several directions to explore. Use a sound as a background layer, cut out a smaller detail or combine it with other material in your sampler.
