Sonic Portraits – Toolkit is a collection of Zebra 3 module presets and profiles for musicians who enjoy building their own sounds. It combines 500 resources for individual modules with the Atelier family of custom interface skins for u-he Zebra 3.

Start inside a module, combine the resources and adapt them to your patch. The collection covers oscillator sources, resonant profiles and modulation shapes for bass, leads, percussion, pads and experimental textures. These are sound design tools rather than a bank of finished synth presets.

• 125 MSEG Curve Presets for rhythmic patterns, envelopes and evolving movement.

The resources are organised into 20 packs, with Packs 01 to 05 included in each family. An installation guide and a practical preset guide help you get started and explore the collections.

The Atelier family: two ways to make Zebra 3 your own

The original Atelier gives Zebra 3 a redesigned visual identity, with textured backgrounds, distinct module colours and new knobs and sliders.

Meet Atelier Blanc, the newest member of the Atelier family. Its light finish pairs soft white and pale grey surfaces with dark lettering and coloured module accents, giving Zebra 3 a fresh look while keeping the familiar Atelier character.

Both Atelier and Atelier Blanc are included in Sonic Portraits – Toolkit. Choose the look that suits your workspace. The skins work independently of the module collections, so you can use them with your existing Zebra 3 sounds too. Explore both designs in the gallery below.
